I'll be at the show for a while. Any Oppo members here?
What would secret oppo buy? When I go off to college in a year or so, I'm gonna buy a new(old) car to drive and leave the Miata at home. What would you buy?
#oppositelock Can anybody author me for the real oppo? Thanks!
Am I a horrible person, in that, the first thing I thought of when seeing this was a Jerry Sandusky joke?... #toosoon?
Just got these. The Thinksound MS01's. They sound really good. I've been using the Thinksound Rain headphones for a while now on a recommendation by Gizmodo, but these are their top level In-ears. They have a pretty nice soundstage and sound pretty balanced. Kick drums have punch, highs are clear, plenty of mids…
Went to the DC auto show today. Overall, great experience. I saw a few cars, but was really disappointed with the gearshift in the Fiat 500(all models). The shift knob was really big, and shifts felt really vague. It may feel different when the car is on, but it was weird.
I'm thinking my next car will be a Subaru Forester XT. I love the quirky style, and they are kinda obscure where I live. Plus, it's cheap enough so that I could keep the Miata as my "I've put too much into this thing and love it too much to sell it" car.
Anybody own a Subaru Outback? Say, a 02-03 or older? How are they?
Any synth guys here? I REALLY wish they made it full size and just priced it at a grand. But dang, for a third of an original I am going to be on this like Wert at an auto show...
Just singed up for this. Pretty Excited.
They have been discussed/shown on Top Gear US before; but does anybody have real experience with these? I know Hardigree has one. They are obscure and cool enough that I really like them. Plus, being cheap doesn't hurt. Thoughts?
I first drove a manual in a 72 or 74 VW Beetle. I didn't really learn to drive a manual until I got my Miata though. I would SR20, but I'm exhausted and have posted enough pics about the Miata that you guys know I'm serious.
So, If I manage to save some money from my job, and with help from my parents, I could have around $20k for a new car around the end of the year. I'll be going off to college next year, and my Miata isn't really practical without a garage. I'd also like to have something that wouldn't need any major maintenance since…
So I came within 10 feet of hitting a bear today while driving. It was at 5am, and frankly, I didn't even know there were bears in the area. By the time I realized what was going on, it was running across the road in front of my car. I'm just thankful that I didn't hit it, cause it would have worked the Miata. I see…
